The interior is very Central Asian, especially in Uzbekistan. I had visited there last time before this, almost a year ago, and it seems like they have renovated the place since then. It is very clean and well taken care of. There are two types of seating: sitting at the regular table or on the floor, which is a little bit elevated.
First of all, we ordered our drinks. The one on the top left corner is called a kompot. It is made of fresh fruits and berries. On the top right side is a black lemon tea. And lastly, on the bottom, a drink called Airan. That is the most interesting out of the three, since the first two are very familiar to us; however, the last one is a little bit unique. It is made of plain yogurt, salt, water, and different types of spices. It is unlike anything else you have ever tried, and I highly recommend getting it when you visit this place.
Next, we got our food. It was three of us dining that day, so we ordered quite a lot of fodd. First, we each got one soup, which is called borsch. Borsch is traditionally a Ukrainian soup made of cabbage, beans, and meat. However, the borsch here was a little different. It wasn't as pink as it usually is and was more like red. It had many different types of vegetables in it, as well as ground meat. Borsch was very delicious and filling. On the right side of it is a dish called plov with Kulcha Patir Nan bread. Plov is a very special dish, and most Middle Eastern countries have their own variation of it. The one in that restaurant is Uzbek plov, made of rice, lamb, and a variety of vegetables. It was very delicious. And lastly, you can see Shashlik in the bottom picture. Shashlik is a dish that is made on skewer metal steaks on a real fire. There are three types of shashlik in this restaurant: beef, chicken, and lamb. The platter consists of all three, and that is what we ordered. The platter also has some fresh vegetables, a couple of salads, and sauce. Overall, the food was very good and delicious.
The menu was very versatile. There were so many things to choose from, starting with appetizers and ending with a bunch of deserts. There are some special dishes that you should order in advance, like 24 hours before going so they can prepare them, but in general, there are tons of options you can choose from. Unfortunately, they were out of most of the salads the day we went there, but I will definitely try it next time
This is the location of the place; it is near Itaewon Station, exit 2. Overall, our experience there was great; the food was very good, and the place itself was very clean and pretty. I would also like to mention the service; our waiter was very kind, spoke good English as well as Korean, and did everything to make us feel welcomed. I would definitely recommend a visit there.
